Championing women on and off the court: Epsilon offers NIL opportunity to all 930 female athletes in the DI basketball tournament

    By: Grace Francesconi | May 27, 2024

It’s tournament time -- women’s basketball is taking over the headlines and the hype comes at an opportune moment during Women’s History Month. Today and every day, Epsilon believes in supporting women and celebrating their efforts.

This year, we’re proud to be partnering with Opendorse to launch a “Work Together to Win Together” campaign offering name, image and likeness (NIL) deals to all Division I women’s college basketball players in the tournament.

In the first and only NIL opportunity of its kind, student-athletes from all 68 teams in the tournament will have the opportunity to make $500 off their NIL. In addition, to support the athletes with their transition from one team to the next, Epsilon will also offer access to career planning resources and mentorship opportunities.

The heart of the campaign is centered on the power of what’s possible when we “Work Together to Win Together” one of Epsilon’s company values that embodies our culture and belief that collaboration is the catalyst that unlocks our full potential.

Many of Epsilon’s employees are also former student-athletes, which contributes to our team-first culture. There are many parallels between success on the court and off the court in business, including trusting each other and working together toward common goals.

Daryl Rappe, Senior Director of Recruiting at Epsilon who played Division I college basketball at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Susan Rothwell, Chief Revenue Officer at Epsilon, who was a DI swimmer at La Salle University, shared what “Work Together to Win Together” means to them:

Only a small percentage of student-athletes will have an opportunity to continue their playing careers in a professional capacity after they leave college. Epsilon is proud to offer award winning Early Careers programs to help ease the transition from college to corporate, with a team-oriented approach that offers the support new talent needs to do epic things.
